Ride around the bicycle using the "Nextbike" which can be found right outside on the left front of the main train station. Every 30 mins is 1 euro.
There are several stops where you can park the bike. After riding around the Park Sanssouci, visiting Neues Palais, we passed Maulbeerallee and parked the bike near Brandenburger Tor.
Grab any takeout and walk over to the Schloss Sanssouci, which was once the summer home of Frederick the Great, former King of Prussia. "Sans souci" in French means no problem / carefree. And for almost two hours, I could feel that spirit looking down the unique vineyard terraces in the courtyard.
This palace is also unique it's one story. Unfortunately, my phone battery died after this part of the trip, but we also walked to Hollandisches Viertel (Holland quarter), where it the housings look exactly like they are from Holland. We finished the trip relaxing, looking over Heiliger See.
At the further end of Heiliger See, Schloss Cecilienhof is located. This is where the historical Potsdam Conference took place, and is saved on my list for my next visit!
